La Veguilla Lagoon Route

The La Veguilla Lagoon Route is a 3.5 km circular circuit around the freshwater lagoon closest to the centre of Alcázar de San Juan. Of easy difficulty and with an approximate duration of one hour, it is ideal for families with children and for those seeking a quiet stroll in the heart of nature. The route passes by the bird hide, from where numerous waterbird species inhabiting the wetland can be observed. It is an excellent introduction to Alcázar's natural heritage, accessible in any season of the year.
