Lagoon Complex and Windmills Route

This circular 12 km route links two of Alcázar de San Juan's great attractions: the UNESCO-protected lagoon complex and the iconic windmill hill. The route, of easy difficulty and suitable for both walking and cycling, crosses landscapes of lagoons, vineyards and the vast La Mancha plain. With an approximate duration of 3 hours, it allows you to combine birdwatching at the wetlands with panoramic views from the windmills. It is one of the best ways to discover Alcázar's natural and landscape essence in a single day.
